Services
Further to his lawful recognition as NGO (Non-Governmental Organization), in 1986 (Moniteur N º48, June 6th, 1986), SODEC has been extending its activities in the following areas :
Nutrition : Creation of numerous popular centers of nutrition in Baie d'Oranges, Ti-Maché and in Port-au-Prince, respectively located in the Southeast and in the West of Haiti
Education : Building of « Friendship School » (Ecole de l'Amitié) in Découzé and in Jacmel, where SODEC provides regularly, on the basis of voluntary work, an education of standard quality for more than 2000 students of fundamental level.
Communication : Creation of the « Radio SODEC Services », frequency 104.1 FM. This radio station has been a place for intercommunication between the employees and employers.
