About SODEC

SODEC (Society of Job Offers, Applications and Consultations) is an agency of employment. It has been working in Haiti since 1979, after having been subsequently recognized by the Ministry of Social Affairs in 1981.

SODEC is registered and patented with numbers 001-80-841 and 286295. It is represented by Mister Jean Henry CHERY (NIF: 311-10-184), its Managing Director. His head office is in Port-au-Prince.

Since its creation, SODEC has inserted thousands of professionals of various backgrounds on the labor market, in Haiti as in other countries. These professionals have different positions in administration and other areas of employment.

Since 1979, SODEC as been representing in Haiti as well as in Dominican Republic, Martinique or Guadeloupe, the Renard International Hospitality Consultants, a business company of investment based in Toronto. Besides services of investment, it gives translation services in five languages, as well as services of preparation and distribution of pay (payroll).

The expansion of SODEC – which has officially acquired the status of non-governmental organization in 1986 – has been articulated around the diversification of its activities, especially in the areas of health improvement (with the creation of a Health Center), nutrition (Program of Scholastic Canteen), education (School in Découzé) and Community Radio. Strengthened by its 35 years of experience, SODEC has been enjoying a reputation of excellence and seriousness, whether in Haiti or in other countries.
